Bohemia Interactive Simulations is the leading developer of 3D simulation and visualization software used mainly by military customers. We are looking for full-time Designers to join the development team in our Czech Main Office (located in Praha 6, Czech Republic). The job duties of a Designer include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Develop scripted components for the VBS2 product range- Develop graphical user interfaces (dialogs)
- Work with Artists to get 3D assets into VBS2
- Liaise with Programmers when extensions to the VBS2 source code are
required
- Conduct limited QA (Quality Assurance) testing when required
- Utilize a number of collaborative and communication tools (eg:
Subversion, Skype)*Applicants must:*
- Work out of our Praha 6, Czech Republic office
- Be comfortable with learning the Arma/VBS2 scripting language and configuration files
- Have good English language skills (both written and oral).
- Be self-motivated and willing to learn new skills as required
- Be a team player, willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to prioritize work and deliver projects on time with
comprehensive documentation
- Being comfortable with the Arma/VBS2 scripting language
- Enthusiasm for designing elements such as Artificial Intelligence, Game
Scenario and Entity creation, 2d Graphic Art
- Video editing skills

Designers work together with Artists by taking their 3D models and getting them working "in game", using Scripting and Configuration Files. Designers work together with Programmers by requesting new scripting commands, engine changes, or configuration properties, when required.
